H&A Architects & Engineers hired David Lockwood as a senior electrical engineer. Lockwood has worked on more than 20 LEED-certified projects. He graduated from Old Dominion University.
Mark Midgley joined H&A as an energy analyst/modeler. Midgley specializes in energy simulation and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

Law
David G. Browne founded the Browne Law Firm PLLC, which will focus on civil litigation, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. Browne was previously an attorney at MeyerGoergen, P.C.
Hunton & Williams LLP added Laura Colombell Marshall as a partner in its Richmond office. Marshall was a senior member of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia for more than 14 years.

Greta J. Harris has been appointed president and chief executive of the Better Housing Coalition, succeeding T.K. Somanath, who is retiring. Harris, a Virginia Tech graduate, was most recently vice president for the Local Initiatives Support Coalition.
The Virginia Association of Museums appointed Jennifer Thomas executive director. Thomas has been with VAM for 13 years, most recently as its interim executive director. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware and William & Mary.
