Law

Attorney Robert W. Partin joined McCandlish Holton in the firm’s litigation department, where he focuses on family law matters, including divorce, property division and spousal support.

Jeff Palmore joined Reed Smith LLP. Palmore will focus on Virginia administrative, regulatory and legislative law, as well as commercial litigation. He was previously director of policy development and deputy counsel in the office of Gov. Bob McDonnell.

Nonprofits

Erica Mann is now the central region community-based services director for United Methodist Family Services. In her new post, she will oversee the Richmond Regional Center, the Fredericksburg Regional Center and the Therapeutic Treatment in the Public Schools and FamilyCARE programs.

Technology

AIBioTech announced the promotion of Greg Meyers to vice president of DNA services.

Michael LaMantia joined UDig‘s Richmond office as a technical recruiter. LaMantia is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in communications studies.

Higher education

Brian Brown has been promoted to associate professor with tenure at Virginia Commonwealth University. Brown received his PhD in marketing from Georgia State University.
