Former Virginia solicitor general E. Duncan Getchell returned as partner and senior litigator to McGuireWoods, where he had previously worked for 33 years and once served as chair of the firm’s appellate practice group. Getchell spent four years in the office of Virginia attorney general Ken Cuccinelli.

Jackson Dyer has been promoted to vice president of Gulf Seaboard General Contractors. He has been a project manager since 2004 and will take on the leadership role in marketing and business development for the company. He received his bachelor’s degree in business management and political science at Virginia Tech.

Comfort Zone Camp named Mary Beth McIntire its new chief executive officer. McIntire was formerly the executive director of the Library of Virginia Foundation. Lloyd Osgood, the previous chief executive officer, is now director of communications for Weinstein Properties.
