Glen Allen-based Elephant Insurance launched a campaign featuring a spokes-elephant. The campaign was developed by Circle One Marketing in Norwalk, Conn.

Studio Center Total Production created a TV spot for Sheltering Arms that was broadcast locally during the Super Bowl.

Two VCU Brandcenter alumni – Mark Svartz and Jon Bunning, both 2002 graduates – worked on a Citigroup commercial that aired during the Olympics.

VCU’s dental clinics, formerly known as Dentistry@VCU, have been rebranded as VCU Dental Care. VCU University Marketing put together the campaign.

VCU’s School of Engineering won a gold medal in the 2013 Collegiate Advertising Awards for a video promoting women in engineering.

They also took home a bronze for a print ad showcasing a new interdisciplinary educational approach. The work was developed by the School of Engineering’s marketing and communications department with help from Glossy Creative and RoKa.

Free Agents Marketing developed a campaign for First Team Automotive Group’s brand in Hampton Roads.

Neathawk Dubuque & Packett’s TV spot for the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU was chosen as one of the Top 10 Hospital Ads of 2013 by Aha Media Group.

Neathawk Dubuque & Packett also won Service Industry Advertising Awards for its campaigns for Rex Health (gold and bronze) and VCU Medical Center (bronze).

Madison+Main will design and implement a new marketing campaign for Village Bank.

Madison+Main designed a marketing initiative for Virginia ENT and a new spot for First Bank.

Motley’s Auction & Realty Group received seven first-place advertising awards at the Virginia Auctioneers Association’s annual convention in Williamsburg.

Tim O. Dudley, vice president of real estate for Motley’s, was inducted into the VAA’s Hall of Fame.

Lythos Studios produced a commercial for Duffy’s Repair Service and has been retained by Fiamour.

Overcoast is moving March 1 to the Gather building at 409 E. Main St. They also will be working on a documentary, “Tohoku Tomo,” about recovery efforts in Japan after a 2011 earthquake.

The King Agency hired Eric Zirkle as a senior graphic designer.

Impression Marketing added three clients to its digital marketing roster: the Response Institute, Theratape.com and 1-800DogBone.com.

PadillaCRT unveiled a new brand identity, along with a revamped website and logo.

Commonwealth Partnerships landed two new clients: HHHunt Corp. and Virginia Supportive Housing. Keiter expanded its relationship with Commonwealth Partnerships, and JoycePayne Partners has renewed its relationship.

In addition, Commonwealth Partnerships received a 2014 Gold AVA Digital Award for its social media campaign for Heritage Commons in Williamsburg.

Either I watch way too much TV or they way over saturated the market with their commercials – cute and memorable the first ten times – but now I mute and look away when I see that “elephant” on the tube! This feedback comes from someone who is IN and LOVES advertising – Thanks.
