John Adams, chairman of The Martin Agency, was chosen to have a plaque in his honor added to VCU Brandcenter’s “Wall of Inspiration” in Mike Hughes Hall. Adams currently serves as chairman of the Brandcenter’s board of directors and has been a supporter since its inception, the university said.
Martin Agency and Mondelez International are launching a new campaign for Chips Ahoy! for the brand’s 50th anniversary and to announce four new Chips Ahoy! ice cream flavors.
The agency also paired with artist Cesar Díaz Melendez and actress Anne Heche for a project for EARTH University, a non-profit school in Costa Rica that specializes in sustainable agriculture and natural resources. The 90-second video is animated entirely in sand.
The agency won an interactive film award at SXSW for An Idea Lives On for the JFK Presidential Library and Museum.
In addition, the Martin Agency did a new ad for PING.
The King Agency appointed William J. Boger to the role of account strategist. Prior to returning to TKA, Boger led the marketing and advertising efforts at Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists and PartnerMD. Boger attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

Madison+Main will launch an integrated marketing campaign for Sky Zone Richmond. The firm also conceived and produced a new TV spot for First Bank called “First in Business Banking.”
Lythos Studios completed two commercials for Jan-Pro of Charlottesville. They’ll also launch a new website in April for both the Richmond and Charlottesville Jan-Pro offices.
