At the city of Richmond:

James A. Jackson is interim deputy chief administration officer for operations. He has been director of the department of public works since February 2011. He will fill the vacancy created by Christopher Beschler who has been named acting CEO.

Emmanuel Adediran is interim director of public works. He was the deputy director of general services.

Lee Downey is interim deputy chief administrative officer for economic and community development. He has been director of economic development since 2011. Downey will fill the vacancy created by the departure of Peter Chapman.

Douglas Dunlap is interim director of economic development. He has been deputy director for planning and development review.

Richie McKeithen is city assessor for the city of Petersburg. He had been chief assessment officer for Philadelphia. He holds degrees from Morgan State University and Hampton University.
