A.S. “Art” Warren of the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors has announced his retirement.

Frank Robinson, president and CEO of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, is retiring at the end of March. He will become president emeritus.

Jeffrey P. Geiger and Marshall L. Jones have been elected partners of Hirschler Fleischer.

Dawn N. Perez-Slavinski has joined Christian & Barton as an associate in the health care and corporate practice groups. She received her law degree from Villanova University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from New York University.

Benjamin Candland, Katherine DeLuca and Bethany Lukitsch have been promoted to partners with McGuireWoods.

Charles J. Homiller Jr. focuses his practice on criminal law defense including traffic violations and DUI. He received his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and has a degree from Hampden-Sydney College.

Shane Frick is an associate practicing in the areas of business, real estate and litigation. He received his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and his degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Clay Westbay has joined Synergy Technical as a project manager. He had been with Mitchell, Wiggins, & Co.

Banking

Thomas F. Cherry has been promoted to president of C&F Financial Corp. and C&F Bank. He will continue as chief financial officer until a successor is named.

Jose Alguacil is manager. He had been with the San Francisco Giants.

Steve Kline is pitching coach. He had been a pitcher with the San Francisco Giants.

Nonprofits

Beth Vann-Turnbull is the executive director at Housing Families First.

Scott Garka will become president of CultureWorks on Jan. 15. He is the senior director for consulting services with VHQC.
