William Decatur, senior vice president for finance and administration for Virginia Commonwealth University, is leaving for a position at Wayne State University in Detroit. He has been in the position less than two years.
Keitaro Harada, associate conductor with the Richmond Symphony, has been appointed the associate conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

John Erbach and Matt Yanovitch have been elected directors at Spotts Fain.
Erbach is a business litigator who has represented businesses in a wide range of areas, including patent, trademark, employment and commercial litigation. His practice has a special emphasis on federal courts.
Yanovitch’s primary areas of practice are health care law, estate and probate law, and commercial and fiduciary litigation.
William D. Ledoux Jr. has been elected as a member (partner) at Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott. He litigates matters in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels, including employment litigation, legal malpractice, contract disputes, commercial litigation, products liability and tort actions.
