Jeff Fitch has left his position at Sports Backers to join the new PGA Champions Tour event coming to Richmond in 2016.

Connie Moser has retired from the Richmond SPCA. She had been its chief financial officer.

Richard Coughlan, senior associate dean of University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business, is stepping down from his administrative role after 12 years and will be returning to the faculty of the school at the end of the fall semester.

Adrienne Whitaker joins Virginia Home for Boys and Girls as vice president of philanthropy. She had been the vice president of institutional advancement at Virginia State University. She is a graduate of The College of William and Mary.

The board of directors for the Historic Shockoe Valley Foundation are: president, Matthew Davey; vice president, Jeremy Williams; treasurer, Dylan Holt; secretary, Marisa Impellizzeri; and Robert Laffoon, Stephanie Lynch and Lesley Shinbaum.

Francine Barr has been promoted to chief executive officer of Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, effective Oct. 1. She had been vice president and chief operating officer.

W. Marshall Simpson is executive vice president and chief commercial officer for Owens & Minor Inc., effective Oct. 4. He had been with Dominions Medical, a firm he founded.

Devon Martin is the marketing coordinator. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech.
