The Martin Agency was in the running to be the agency of record for both sandwich chain Subway and Priceline.com, according to reports from Adweek. Both accounts went to BBDO New York.

Martin is also vying to retain parent company McCann Worldgroup’s account with American Airlines. The agency is one of four finalists making pitch presentations in October, according to Adweek.

HeliumStudio launched a new website for Southeastern Guide Dogs, a Florida-based nonprofit that trains service dogs for the visually impaired. The website features an online store, reservation system, media galleries and a mobile responsive stylesheet for optimal viewing on tablets and handheld devices.

HeliumStudio also redesigned and launched a new website for Slait Consulting, an information technology and security consulting company with offices in Richmond. ND&P

ND&P worked with animation house Studio Flatland on a campaign for VCU Health at Baird Vascular Institute about plantar fasciitis, a painful foot condition. The campaign, which features an animated character traveling by balloon and being shot from a cannon in an effort to avoid the condition, promotes Image Guided Tendon Treatment as a better alternative for pain relief. The campaign includes a new website – RelieveMyFoot.com – as well as posters, brochures and digital ads.

Creative Visual Design has launched new websites for three local companies: Project Green, an organic-based lawn care company; AttiK, an interior design firm that reclaims and repurposes existing furnishings; and Torero Tapas Bar & Grill, a Spanish tapas restaurant in Shockoe Slip.

Addison Clark has been retained by National Counseling Group, a private group of therapists and counselors providing comprehensive community-based, outpatient services, therapeutic day treatment and therapeutic foster care to individuals and families. The agency will provide marketing strategy and general agency services for all of the company’s programs and divisions.

The agency has also created and launched a new website for the Retail Merchants Association’s Think.Shop.Buy.Local program. The site promotes the benefits of supporting local merchants and allows members to share local deals and events.

Spurrier Media Group and Workshop Digital teamed up to boost awareness about Helping Hands Affordable Veterinary Surgery and Dental Care, a local facility that offers affordably priced veterinary services for dogs, cats and other animals. Spurrier Media Group selected Helping Hands to receive pro bono research and media assistance, and it worked with Workshop Digital to develop a strategic marketing and media plan designed to generate awareness about the facility.

VCU Brandcenter is kicking off its 20th anniversary celebration with a lunch in New York City this week during Advertising Week.

Lythos Studios has been engaged for an ongoing project with Bon Secours Movin’ Mania. Project construction was completed in August and will continue throughout the year in the Richmond area.

Free Agents Marketing partnered with Bon Secours Virginia Health Care Foundation to create a web presence for its 200 Campaign, which aims to raise $200 million over the next 10 years, coinciding with the 200th anniversary of the Sisters of Bon Secours in 2024. Website content will focus on the foundation’s communications with donors, volunteers and supporters in central Virginia and the Hampton Roads region.

has launched a new TV spot for TowneBank titled “Hometowne,” as well as new websites for HarbourVest, a Boston-based global private markets investment firm, and for RD Olson Development, a California-based firm engaged in the development and repositioning of commercial properties. The agency also created a 30-second commercial for Hourigan Construction as part of its 2015 UCI Road World Championships sponsorship.
