The parent of Virginia Commonwealth Bank declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share, payable July 24, to shareholders of record July 11.

The power utility acquired Clarke County Solar, a 10-megawatt solar power facility in Clarke County, from an affiliate of Chicago-based Hecate Energy LLC. Terms were not disclosed. The company also announced plans to purchase a 20-megawatt solar farm under construction in Northampton County from Hecate in the third quarter.

Owens & Minor (OMI)

CEO Paul Cody Phipps sold 12,677 shares of common stock at $32.19 per share for a total of $408,072 to satisfy tax-withholding obligations.

Tredegar (TG)

Directors John Steitz and Carl Stack III each acquired 926 shares of common stock valued at $14,121. Steitz now directly owns 1,265 shares, while Stack directly owns 10,584 shares.

Union Bankshares (UBSH)

The parent of Union Bank & Trust said it will release its second quarter 2017 financial results before the market opens on Wednesday, July 19. A conference call for analysts will follow at 9 a.m.
