Cliff Wood, executive vice president and chief operating officer, is retiring from CarMax at the end of next summer.  Ed Hill will succeed him.  Hill is executive vice president of strategy and business transformation.

James M. Giudice has joined the business and corporate practice at Williams Mullen.  He is a graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law and is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.
