Cleaning device with single tank recycling system

Patent No. 9,895,041

A cleaning device may include a solution tank configured to store cleaning solution. The device delivers the cleaning solution from a pump discharge of the cleaning device to a flow meter. The device initiates a priming mode by opening a first valve associated with a bypass line of the device, closing a second valve associated with a cleaning head of the cleaning device, and delivering the cleaning solution from a discharge of the flow meter to the inlet of the solution tank through the bypass line. When the device is primed, it initiates cleaning by closing the first valve associated with the bypass line, opening the second valve associated with the cleaning head, and delivering the cleaning solution to the cleaning head.

Additives for tobacco cut filler

Patent No. 9,894,928

Tobacco smoking mixtures capable of producing tobacco smoke are provided which reduce the cytotoxicity and/or mutagenicity of the tobacco smoke. The tobacco smoking mixtures include tobacco cut filler and glycerin in an amount effective to reduce cytotoxicity and/or mutagenicity of smoke produced by the tobacco smoking mixture. The tobacco smoking mixtures enable a further reduction in cytotoxicity and/or mutagenicity when glycerin is combined with palladium or salts of calcium and/or magnesium.

Skate blade edge measurement system

Patent No. 9,897,430

An ice skate blade edge measurement device includes a measurement device frame and a measurement indicator. The measurement device frame defines at least one storage location for the measurement indicator such that, when not being used to measure an alignment of a pair of sharpened skate blade edges, the measurement indicator can be stored. One storage location can be on a front side of the measurement device frame away from a measurement location and another storage location can be on a back side of the measurement device frame.

Production of and drying of copolymer fibers

Patent No. 9,903,051

The present invention concerns processes for reducing water in never-dried fiber comprising copolymer derived from the copolymerization of para-phenylenediamine, 5(6)-amino-2-(p-aminophenyl)benzimidazole; and terephthaloyl dichloride, the process having the following steps in a continuous process, (a) a step of drying a never-dried fiber at less than 100 C until the moisture content of the fiber is less than 60 weight percent; and (b) a step of further drying the fiber above 150.degree. C. while the moisture content of the fiber is no more than 40 weight percent; and the fiber being further heated to at least 350.degree. C. in either an additional continuous or separate step.

Rapid localization platform for location based applications in self-organized networking systems

Patent No. 9,906,431

Time-critical Location Based Service (LBS) applications in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) require fast localization. An On-Demand Fast Localization (ODFL) start from multi-coordinate systems, and the position transformation is integrated with LBS application information transmissions. The framework of ODFL turns two pipe-lined procedures into two semi-concurrent procedures by employing coordinate system transformation on a per hop basis, which consists of three components: (1) Local Coordinate System (LCS) construction; (2) embedded information selection; and (3) position transformation.
