[MIDLOTHIAN, VIRGINIA, August 10, 2018] Virginia Family Dentistry has now opened a new state-of-the-art 9,150 square foot facility on the 1800 block Huguenot Road. The facility specializes exclusively in Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Pediatric Dentist Dr. Ethan Puryear and Orthodontist Dr. Dwight Buelow have moved to the facility from the existing building across Huguenot Road.
The Specialty Center features separate, dedicated spaces for both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics with distinct entrances. On the Pediatric Dentistry side there are bright wall murals to make the space kid-friendly and the equipment is designed for the smaller mouths of children. Pediatric Dentist Dr. Puryear received 2 years of additional training for the treatment of children and sees patients as early as age one. He and his staff are also trained to care for children with special healthcare needs.
Orthodontist Dr. Dwight Buelow specializes in the orthodontic treatment of both children and adults using both braces and Invisalign, the clear plastic trays. Orthodontic patients from age 7 on are comfortable in the new facility and there is a private treatment room for adult patients. The orthodontic office has modern technology, such as a digital scanner to forgo traditional messy impressions.
To celebrate the opening of the new space, Virginia Family Dentistry will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11 am to 2 pm. There will be games and activities for the kids, the doctors will be on hand to answer any questions, and the River City Wood Fired Pizza truck will be on hand for lunch.
