Social objectives-based workload resolution in a cloud environment
Patent No. 10,162,676
A content of a social media data is analyzed. The social media data relates to a workload that is to be located on a node. A location corresponding to the social media data is computed. The social media data is regarded as originating from the location. A set of nodes is selected by computing a social distance objective function, the set of nodes includes the node. Each node in the set of nodes is located within a range of distances specified by the social distance objective function. A first subset of nodes is removed from the set of nodes, where the first subset of nodes fails to satisfy another objective function. In response to a second subset of nodes satisfying the social distance objective function and the other objective function, the node is selected from the second subset and the workload is deployed on the node.

Induction of tumor hypoxia for cancer therapy
Patent No. 10,159,676
Methods and compositions for enhancing the ability of hypoxia-activated bioreductive agents to kill tumor cells within solid tumors are provided. Local regions of hypoxia are created within a tumor, or within a region containing a tumor, resulting in enhanced activation of hypoxia-activated bioreductive agents (e.g. tirapazamine) within the local region. The activated hypoxia-activated bioreductive agents kill tumor cells in the hypoxic region by catalyzing DNA stand breakage within the tumor cells. Because the activity is localized, side effects that typically occur as a result of systemic administration of bioreductive agents are reduced.

The dispersant includes reaction product of components (A) a hydrocarbyl-dicarboxylic acid or anhydride having a number average molecular weight of from about 500 to about 5000 and (B) at least one polyamine, wherein the reaction product is post-treated with (C) an aromatic carboxylic acid, an aromatic polycarboxylic acid, or an aromatic anhydride, wherein all carboxylic acid or anhydride groups are attached directly to an aromatic ring, and/or (D) a non-aromatic dicarboxylic acid or anhydride having a number average molecular weight of less than about 500.

Carrier and blank therefor
Patent No. 10,173,804
A carrier (90) for packaging articles is formed from a single unitary blank (10). The carrier includes primary panels (14, 16, 18, 20) hingedly connected together to form a tubular structure having an interior space. A bottom closure structure (30b, 34b) at least partially closes a lower end of the tubular structure. At least one of the primary panels (16, 20) may include a handle (H1, H2). A handle reinforcing panel (30a, 34a) is secured to the inside surface of the at least one of the primary panels. A partition structure (P1, P2) is hingedly connected to the handle reinforcing panel and disposed in the tubular structure to divide the interior space of the tubular structure into two or more cells for receiving articles.

Reinforced wall system
Patent No. 10,174,477
A reinforced wall system comprising fill material, a plurality of facing baskets, a plurality of reinforcing members at least partially disposed within the fill material, and an impermeable membrane at least partially encapsulating at least a portion of the fill material and one or more of the reinforcing members. Each of the plurality of reinforcing members is associated with a corresponding facing basket. An outer end of each reinforcing member is above a substantially horizontal portion of the corresponding facing basket. The facing baskets and the reinforcing members are positioned in a plurality of layers, with each layer comprising one facing basket and one corresponding reinforcing member. The impermeable membrane is positioned to span two or more layers of the plurality of layers. At one or more layers of the plurality of layers, a portion of the impermeable membrane is positioned around an outer end of the corresponding reinforcing member.
