Eileen E. Waters has joined McCandlish Holton as an associate in the litigation practice group, with a focus on civil litigation. She has degrees from James Madison University and the University of Richmond.

Michael C. Litman and Soroush “Surge” Moghaddassi have joined Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman as associates. Litman focuses his practice on the defense of lawsuits involving local governments and public entities, premises and products liability, motor vehicle liability, and commercial disputes. Moghaddassi focuses his practice primarily defends cases involving motor vehicle liability, premises and products liability, and commercial litigation.

Catherine Stewart and Bailey Duplessie joined the Grove Avenue office of Long & Foster Real Estate.

Ali McCrickard has been promoted to assistant vice president with Divaris Real Estate Inc. She had been a sales and leasing associate.

Mike Trentadue has joined Liz Moore & Associates.

John A. Maghamez has joined Vesta Settlements as the branch manager and legal counsel. He has degrees from the University of Virginia and Liberty University.

Brian Wood has joined the asset management team of Commonwealth Commercial Partners. He had been with Goldman Sachs in Sydney, Australia and has degrees from Washington and Lee University and Johns Hopkins University.

Sharon Ebert is deputy chief administrative officer for the economic and community development portfolio. She had been with the city of Johns Creek, Ga. She is a graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Douglas Dunlap has been named as the director of housing and community development. He has been interim deputy chief administrative officer for Richmond. He has degrees from Hampton University and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Valaryee Mitchell is director of community wealth building. She had been the interim director. She has degrees from Hampton University and Virginia Tech.


John Emery has been appointed chief operating officer for Southside Regional Medical Center. He had been with Shands Starke Regional Medical Center in Starke, Fla.
