First Arriving moved its Ashland office to a larger space at 9555 Kings Charter Drive, Suite K. The location includes expanded conference space, work areas and amenities aimed at attracting new talent to the company, which focuses on marketing and technology services for public safety agencies, businesses and nonprofits. The agency totals 15 employees, 12 of whom are in Ashland.

Elevation created a TV campaign for Duke’s Mayonnaise that launched on cable networks this month. Produced by Spang, the national campaign highlights award-winning chefs, including Jason Alley of Richmond’s Pasture and Comfort, who use Duke’s in preparing their recipes. In addition to the 15-second spots running nationally, 30-second versions are airing in regional markets, with recipes posted on Duke’s website.

Addison Clark was hired as lead agency for Sound Bank Small Business Lending, an SBA lender in North Carolina. Work will include branding, website design, collateral and digital marketing. The agency created a mobile-friendly website for Ashland-based A.D. Whittaker Construction and hired Lauren McCarthy as an account manager. The VCU grad was previously with ThomasArts in New York.

Bryce Hipps Creative launched a new website for Art Works, an art gallery and studio space located in Manchester.

Zoocha signed a lease for office space at Novel Coworking in Shockoe Slip. The UK-based digital agency uses open-source technologies like Drupal to provide user experience strategy, website design and development, and web hosting and support services for governments, charities and international consumer brands.

Colab hired Jon Betts as senior Drupal developer. Betts has 25 years of industry experience and has worked on projects for Proctor & Gamble, T. Rowe Price, National Cancer Institute and DuPont.

The Martin Agency hired Abu Ngauja as talent engagement and inclusion specialist. He will work with the agency’s talent and culture department on promoting diversity and inclusion through onboarding, internal programs and overall environment. Ngauja started in March and previously worked at Leo Burnett and Venables Bell and Partners.

903 Creative completed a rebranding for Project Green, a local lawncare business. Work included a new logo, website, yard signs, truck designs, print collateral and digital advertising. The agency also competed a rebrand for Ruckart Real Estate, interior environmental signage design for Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia’s headquarters, and an identity design for Richmond-based Greyscale Ceramics.

Lythos Studios is creating a PR campaign and social media strategy for Perrin Construction and Design, a local home renovation and new construction firm.
