Third Marble Marketing hired Nathan Lee as a project lead and Samantha Nodes as an optimization specialist. Lee’s background is in graphic design and has experience in marketing and customer service. Nodes is studying mathematics at VCU.

Poolhouse won four Campaigns & Elections Reed Awards for work during the 2019 election cycle. The awards recognized a 30-second TV ad and a radio ad for Jen Kiggans for State Senate, an online video for Scott Taylor for Senate and a radio ad for Pat Herrity for Supervisor.

The Idea Center picked up two new clients. It is providing marketing services and refreshing the website for Northeast Construction, a solar energy company based in Chesterfield. It’s also building a website for Virginia Cardiovascular Consultants out of Fredericksburg. 

Idea Center hired Jeff Meek as an account manager. He was previously sales and marketing director at National Heat Exchange in Ohio.

Local photographer Cade Martin was hired by D.C.-based agency Subject Matter to shoot portraits of children born prematurely for a campaign for March of Dimes. The campaign highlighted maternal and infant health and the impact of prematurity on mothers, babies and families.

Legal Marketing Association’s Virginia chapter announced new steering committee members for 2020: Rebecca Edwards, Williams Mullen, chairwoman; Alison Meyer, The McCammon Group, chair-elect; Kim Reed, Sands Anderson, secretary; Selena Browne, McCandlish Holton, treasurer; and members at large Bobbie Conklin, Steptoe & Johnson; Elizabeth Roberts, Allen and Allen; Ashley Byrne Smith, Hunton Andrews Kurth; Zinie Sampson, Baretz+Brunelle; and Kristin Walinski, Scribe on Demand.

Michigan Creative, an agency based in Lansing, Michigan, opened a division in Richmond. Named Crimson Creative, the division is led by business development manager Michael Kirk. Services include marketing, branding, graphic design, advertising, video production, animation, web, mobile and social media. 

Addison Clark redesigned the website for Osborn Load Runners, a division of Richmond-based Osborn. The redesigned site highlights the industrial manufacturer’s case studies and is designed to improve customer experience.

The King Agency hired Andy Shaw as strategy and connections director. The University of South Carolina alum previously worked at BrandCommand and Charles Ryan Associates. Brett Ruiz was promoted from senior art director to associate creative director.

Madison+Main named Molly Whitfield as president. She previously served as chief operations officer and will continue in that role. Agency founder Dave Saunders had previously served as president and will continue leading its creative and strategy teams. Whitfield has worked at the agency since 2007.

903 Creative developed updated branding for Virginia War Memorial Foundation. Work included an updated identity system and a website redesign coordinated by 28 Media. 903 developed new branding for Henrico-based consulting group SingleStone. Wythe Ave Consulting, Helm + Hue and Kate Cooper Content Design collaborated on a new website for CA Human Services, a Henrico-based nonprofit. The site’s audience-based navigation is designed to make it easier for individuals with autism, their families and other users to find information and resources. Wythe Ave collaborated with 28 Media and 903 Creative to develop updated branding and a new website for Housing Virginia

Novus Creative completed branding for Functional Health & Wellness, an online-based holistic medical practice in Henrico. Novus was hired to design a website for Best Accounting Practices LLC, a Richmond-based accounting outsourcing company.
