Ann Marie Marson, executive vice president and chief claims officer with Kinsale Capital Group, has announced her retirement, effective Sept. 4.

Real Estate

Laura Godoy joined the Innsbrook office.

Jocely Juhasz Lima joined the Tuckahoe office.

Finance

Grace Wilkins Maxwell joins George Mason Mortgage as a senior loan officer. She had been with Southern Trust Mortgage.

The board of directors for the Virginia Credit Union reports:

L. Robert Bolling and Patricia Green have joined the board. Bolling is with ChildSavers. Green is with the Midlothian Family YMCA.

Catherine Lowry Franssen, a neuroscientist on sabbatical from Longwood University, has been named scientist in residence for the Science Museum of Virginia.

Nonprofits

Joining First Tee of Greater Richmond:

Dan Sabina is the superintendent of Belmont Golf Course.

Joining the board of directors are Mike McCann with Troutman Sanders and Dan Schmitt with Henrico County and RMC Events.

Government

Jehmal T. Hudson has been appointed to the Virginia State Corporation Commission.

Curtis Brown is state coordinator of emergency management at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. He has served as chief deputy state coordinator.

Derek L. Stamey as has been named interim county administrator for Goochland County, effective July 1. He is the deputy county administrator.

Education

Carmen Lomellin and Dr. Tonya A. Parris-Wilkins have been appointed to the board of visitors for Virginia Commonwealth University, effective July 1. Lomellin is with Lomellin Global Partners in Arlington. Dr. Parris-Wilkins is with the Bland Ministry Center.

Construction

Cody Freels has joined EDC as an assistant superintendent.
