The tobacco giant announced earlier this month its subsidiary UST LLC entered into a definitive agreement to sell Ste. Michelle Wine Estates to private equity firm Sycamore Partners Management for $1.2 billion in cash and assumption of certain Ste. Michelle liabilities. The deal is expected to close this year.

The armored car giant filed its quarterly earnings report for the period ended June 30. The company reported a net income of $23.9 million in its second quarter, which is an 85 percent increase compared to the company’s net income of $12.9 million in the same period last year.
C&F Financial (CFFI)

Parmar, 45, currently serves as senior vice president and chief information officer for Tapestry, Inc., a New York-based owner of fashion brands such as Coach and Kate Spade. Parmar has a master’s degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State.
