Plaintiff says defendant took over in February 2018, and in/about October 2020, a new executive director of LISC discovered the actual space assigned in the final lease was only 60 percent of what was originally leased. Plaintiff says defendant refused to provide any credit for the overpayment and plaintiff was unwilling to extend the lease in absence of fair credit, so notified defendant on Dec. 18, 2020, that it would not renew the lease and vacated the building. Plaintiff says it is due compensation for overpaid rent and the return of its security deposit and seeks judgment of no less than $51,311.62.
