Utilizing machine learning to reduce cloud instances in a cloud computing environment
Patent No. 11,329,870
A device receives, from a cloud computing environment, cloud instance information associated with cloud instances in the cloud computing environment, and processes the cloud instance information, with a machine learning model, to determine containers for one or more of the cloud instances and whether cloud instances should be removed from the cloud computing environment. The device causes a first subset of the cloud instances to be removed from the cloud computing environment, based on determining which of the cloud instances should be removed, and causes the containers to be created for a second subset of the cloud instances based on determining the containers. The device receives, from the cloud computing environment, cloud container information associated with the containers created in the cloud computing environment, and causes one or more of the containers to be scaled based on the cloud container information.

A method of enhancing travel security features associated with a mobile device is provided. The method may include operating a time clock to store a start device confiscation time in a memory and to store an end device confiscation time in the memory, monitoring the mobile device to detect tampering occurring between the start device confiscation time and the end device confiscation time, and in response to the detecting of tampering, prompting the user for a secure identifier. Upon receipt of the secure identifier, the method may include opening a secure i/o pathway to a re-image file. The secure i/o pathway preferably enables execution of an executable re-image file. The re-image file may be used to re-image a software image of the mobile device. The re-image file may contain a pre-tampered image of the mobile device.

Polymer coated paperboard container and method
Patent No. 11,332,281
A method of forming a coating on a cylindrical paperboard container having a closed end. The method includes the steps of heating a gas from a first temperature to a second temperature; providing the gas to a first inlet of a nozzle; providing a polymer in a liquid state at a third temperature; providing the polymer to a second inlet of the nozzle; and spraying the polymer onto the cylindrical paperboard container using the nozzle; wherein the second temperature is greater than the third temperature; and the second temperature and third temperature are such that the gas maintains the polymer in the liquid state at least until the polymer comes into contact with the cylindrical paperboard container. A system for applying a coating to a plurality of cylindrical paperboard containers and a container for a consumer product are also provided.

Topography apparatus for electronic vaping device
Patent No. 11,331,443
A topography apparatus may be coupled to an e-vaping device, within an interior defined by a housing of the e-vaping device, such that the topography apparatus may be coupled to an e-vaping device that may generate vapor independently of the topography apparatus. The topography apparatus may generate and communicate vapor topography data associated with vapor generation by the e-vaping device without altering an external appearance or vapor-generation performance of the e-vaping device. The topography apparatus may be detachably coupled to the interior of the e-vaping device. The topography apparatus includes an interface assembly configured to couple with a power supply, control circuitry, and/or sensor of the e-vaping device. Such coupling may include coupling with internal power or communication conduits of the e-vaping device, such that the topography apparatus taps into power and/or communication lines of the e-vaping device without requiring modification of the circuitry of the e-vaping device.

Network packet capture manager
Patent No. 11,336,542
The packet capture manager uses a multi-tiered storage for storing captured network traffic. Captured packets are stored on a primary storage with a time-to-live according to a retention policy. The packet capture manager receives instructions from one or more network monitoring devices identifying one or more captured packets as packets of interest. The packet capture manager flags the identified packets as packets of interest, moves the flagged packets to a secondary storage, and changes the TTL of the moved packets. A machine learning model analyzes historical data of the instructions received from the one or more network monitoring devices. The packet capture manager uses the machine learning model to identify packets of interest and move identified packets to the secondary storage without specific instructions from a network monitoring device.
