Robert Zullo, editor in chief of the Virginia Mercury, is taking a job with the States Newsroom, the Mercury’s parent organization. Sarah Vogelsong, currently the energy and environment reporter, will take over as editor in chief.

Michael P. Arthur and Cindy S. Foster have joined Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman as associates.

Robert N. Saffelle has joined Hirschler as a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice. He has degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, New England School of Law and Boston University.

Sophie Curdts Mohrmann has been promoted to director of attorney development and inclusion.

Martin Johnson is chief external affairs officer. He had been senior vice president of government relations.

Mary Lawson, vice president of legislative affairs, is also assuming the role of chief lobbyist.
