Robert Zullo, editor in chief of the Virginia Mercury, is taking a job with the States Newsroom, the Mercury’s parent organization. Sarah Vogelsong, currently the energy and environment reporter, will take over as editor in chief.

Law

Michael P. Arthur and Cindy S. Foster have joined Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman as associates.

Robert N. Saffelle has joined Hirschler as a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice. He has degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, New England School of Law and Boston University.

Lindsey P. Hastings is director of attorney recruiting.

Sophie Curdts Mohrmann has been promoted to director of attorney development and inclusion.

Donna Browne is human resources director.

Lindsey Whitlow is an associate attorney in the business and finance section. She has degrees from Louisiana State University and the College of William and Mary.

Martin Johnson is chief external affairs officer. He had been senior vice president of government relations.

Mary Lawson, vice president of legislative affairs, is also assuming the role of chief lobbyist.

Lynne Wherry is promoted to vice president of association relations.

The board of directors for ACG Richmond: chapter president, Lisa Hedrick with Hirschler. Joining the board: Alan Davis with Baskervil; and Cathy Redford with Synergy Technical.

Mike Drye has joined HKS as office director.

Bruce MacDonald has been appointed chief investment officer for VCU Investment Management Co., effective July 1. Nancy C Everett currently holds the titles of CIO and CEO and will remain as the CEO.

Fred Shuford has been appointed vice president of Federal Reserve Financial Services with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. He has degrees from Howard University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
