Altria (MO)

The tobacco giant released its latest proxy statement, disclosing compensation packages paid last year to its top executives.

CEO William Gifford received a total pay package of $16.2 million. He received a base salary of $1.3 million, $6.5 million in stock awards and $8.4 million in other incentives.

Apple Hospitality REIT (APLE)

The hotel-focused real estate investment trust released its latest proxy statement, disclosing compensation packages paid last year to its top executives.

CEO Justin Knight received a total pay package of $6.7 million. He received a base salary of $596,525, $4.1 million in stock awards and $2 million in other incentives.

CarMax (KMX)

The used car retailer reported net revenues of $5.7 billion (a 25.6 percent decrease) for its fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023, which ended Feb. 28. The company reported full-year net revenues of $29.7 billion (a 6.9 percent decrease) for fiscal year 2023.

Dominion (D)

The power utility reported that Daniel Stoddard provided notice on April 6 of his intent to retire effective Aug. 1, 2023. Stoddard is senior vice president, chief nuclear officer and president of contracted assets of Dominion and its subsidiaries.

Dynex Capital (DX)

The mortgage REIT released its latest proxy statement, disclosing compensation packages paid last year to its top executives.

CEO Bryon Boston received a total pay package of $4.2 million. He received a base salary of $800,000, $1.5 million in stock awards and $2 million in other incentives.

Hamilton Beach Brands (HBB)

The electrical products supplier released its latest proxy statement, disclosing compensation packages paid last year to its top executives.

CEO Gregory Trepp received a total pay package of $2.7 million. He received a base salary of $820,192, $798,696 in stock awards and $1.1 million in other incentives.

The Henrico-based insurer posted its latest proxy statement, announcing its shareholders meeting will be held May 25 at 10:30 a.m. at The Commonwealth Club.
