CHESTERFIELD, Va. – Traditions of America is a national leader in the development of active adult communities. Its newest community in the southern suburbs of Richmond, Traditions of America at Chesterfield, features 234 single-family homes, a low-maintenance lifestyle, and notably an array of top-shelf amenities similar to those found at a luxury resort. It is the first of its kind in the area and the 28th community for this award-winning 55+ builder.

Clubhouse Pool and Spa 1A distinguishing aspect of Traditions of America’s approach to developing their communities is the simultaneous construction of the Clubhouse alongside the first homes at the outset of the community. Prospective homeowners can see the luxury amenities going up right before their eyes – from the very beginning.

The Chesterfield community is centered around an 8,000 sq. ft. resort-style Clubhouse designed by nationally acclaimed architects and interior designers. The Clubhouse will feature a fitness center, yoga studio, golf simulator, billiards, sports bar and lounge, dog grooming room, and wine tasting room. Outdoors, residents will enjoy a heated pool with swim-up bars, sun shelves, a hot tub, tennis, pickleball, bocce, cornhole, shuffleboard, a putting green, a dog park with agility stations, and walking trails. A dedicated Lifestyle Director helps to plan a busy calendar of activities.

Sorry, but this isn’t the “first of it’s kind” in the metro area. There are 740 units at CrossRidge in Henrico County ( Staples Mill Road, near I-295) that have been in place for over 20 years. There’s a clubhouse, and many amenities, exist, with clubs galore. I live there and watched the garden club at work this morning, when I headed to my office, as an example.

So excited to have Traditions of America in Richmond, finally! My friend lives in one of their communities and PA and the amenities are like nothing in this area. Top notch. They even have someone at the clubhouse full time to coordinate events! She has made the best friends with her neighbors. I can’t wait to see their model homes- the ones in PA are gorgeous.

I am originally from Pennsylvania and so happy Traditions of America has chosen Chesterfield County to build their beautiful community. The homes are well designed and much larger than most 55 plus community homes. So many helpful features to assist purchasing are available. Every time I visit I pick another favorite model. My husband and I are almost convinced that we will purchase in this community. Welcome to Chesterfield❤️

You forgot to mention one of their amazing outdoor options on their models. Ask about their three season porch option! Traditions are truly experts in what they do, and will bring a new meaning to “resort style living”!
