Penny B. Evins has been named head of school for Collegiate School.  She will begin July1, 2019, upon the retirement of Stephen D. Hickman.  She is with St. Paul’s School for Girls and has two degrees from the University of Virginia.

Law

Matthias J. Kaseorg has joined Spotts Fain as an associate in its commercial and business transactions practice. He brings his background in economics and prior experience in corporate/regulatory healthcare work and complex commercial litigation to his corporate practice. He has degrees from the University of Virginia and Washington and Lee University.

Architecture

Vince Sheehan has joined HG Design Studio as a CAD designer II.

Government

Eva Colen is senior policy advisor for youth initiatives for the City of Richmond.  She has degrees from Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Marketing/Advertising/PR

At West Cary Group:

John Taylor is creative director.  Melodie Tutwiler has been promoted to creative director. She had been an associate creative director.

Charlene Peterson is a financial controller.  Christopher Mosca is an associate user experience designer.

Real Estate

Jason Crowder has joined Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer as a portfolio manager in commercial property services.

Insurance

Joining Kinsale Insurance Co.:

Jess Stone is an associate underwriter – small business.  Andrew Nowaczyk is an associate underwriter – excess casualty.  Carsten de Wolff is an associate underwriter – products liability. They are graduates of Virginia Tech.

Engineering

Jonathan N. Noggle has joined Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates as senior project manager.  He has degrees from Hampden-Sydney College and Colorado State University.

Private Equity

Gordon Crenshaw has joined Blue Heron Capital as a principal.  He had been with the University of Virginia Investment Management Co. and has degrees from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania.

Distribution

Dean Ferrell has been appointed president and chief executive officer with The Winebow Group.  He had been executive vice president and chief financial officer.
