Marieke van Rijn has joined Spotts Fain as an associate in the business section. She has degrees from George Mason University and the University of Richmond.

Brian Watson is chief operating officer for Dodson Property Management. He had been with Capital Region Land Conservancy.

Daniel Cohen has been named director of community enhancement for Chesterfield County, effective July 30. He is currently with the city of Richmond. He has degrees from State University of New York at Oneonta, the New School for Social Research and University of California, Los Angeles.

Meg Hodges has joined the Junior League of Richmond as the director of development. She had been with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Atlanta and is a graduate of Meredith College.
