Jon Mathiasen, the president and chief executive officer of Richmond International Airport, is planning to retire in 2019.

Vernon Inge Jr. and Corey Simpson Booker have joined Whiteford Taylor & Preston. Inge focuses his practice in commercial litigation, bankruptcy and sports law. He has degrees from the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia. Booker focuses her practice in commercial, bankruptcy, environmental and real estate litigation including creditors’ rights and banking/lender litigation. Booker has degrees from the University of Virginia, Northwestern University and the University of Richmond.

Chris Atkins has been promoted to vice president of association management with the Alliance Group. He has a degree from Virginia Tech.
