Departures

John Wack, Richmond’s director of finance, is leaving the department to become CFO for Henrico County Public Schools, effective in March. Sheila D. White has been named interim director of finance, effective Feb. 27.

Sarah Whiting, executive director of St. John’s Church Foundation, is leaving, effective March 4. She is joining The Valentine as director of operations and capital projects.

Law

Alexandra Hamm and Jeremy Theisen have joined Byrne Legal Group. They will focus their practice on representing health care providers in medical malpractice litigation. Hamm has degrees from Mary Baldwin University and the University of Richmond. Theisen has degrees from the University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary.

Kwabena Akowuah was promoted to partner at Ford Richardson.

Joining Nixon Gwilt Law:

Christy Peek is senior counsel.

Noori Ali is counsel.

Brian Brown is director of the health care division of Hourigan.

Shanat Faltz has been promoted to senior project coordinator.

Erin Hawkins is a project coordinator. She had been with The Greater Richmond Convention Center and is a graduate of William Peace University.

David Corbett has joined the downstream energy and convenience retail investment banking group as a director. He has degrees from the University of Georgia and Georgia State University.

Kyle Tipping has been promoted to associate in the downstream energy and convenience retail investment banking group.

Renae Winship is an office coordinator.

Sarine Thomas is a staff accountant. She is a graduate of Longwood University.
