The Innsbrook-based staffing company struck a deal to sell its Oxford Global Resources consulting business unit to an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital for $525 million. The company also purchased the Infor business unit of Avaap for $86 million. Infor brings with it 240 employees and is now part of ASGN’s Apex Consulting Services.

The used car retailer filed its quarterly earnings report for the period that ended May 31. The company reported $7.7 billion in net sales and operating revenue in its first quarter, compared to $3.2 billion in net sales and operating revenue in the same period last year. The company reported $436.8 million in net earnings for the period, compared to $5 million in net earnings in the same period last year.
Senior Vice President Jon G. Daniels sold 32,002 shares at about $130 per share for a total of about $4.2 million. Daniels directly owns 2,745 shares of common stock.
