Apple Hospitality REIT (APLE)

The hotel-focused real estate investment trust recently uploaded a new investor presentation to its website, which will be used in the coming weeks at conferences and meetings. The presentation can be viewed here.

ASGN (ASGN)

The Innsbrook-based IT services and staffing firm refinanced its existing $460 million, five-year revolving credit facility with a new upsized, five-year, $500 million facility. The maturity of the facility has been extended to 2028. It also refinanced a separate secured $500 million term loan with the issuance of a new $500 million, seven-year term loan maturing in 2030. Both transactions were led by Wells Fargo.

Atlantic Union Bankshares (AUB)

Dominion (D)

The power utility announced last week it entered into three separate agreements to sell three gas distribution companies to subsidiaries of Canadian corporation Enbridge Inc. The deals are together valued at $14 billion, and they are expected to close by the end of 2024. See the announcement here.

Dynex Capital (DX)

The mortgage REIT announced this week the appointment of Smriti Popenoe to the company’s board of directors. Popenoe has been the company’s president and co-CIO since 2021.

LL Flooring (LL)

The company appointed Robert Madore as chief accounting officer to replace Chasity Grosh, who resigned effective Sept. 1. Madore continues to serve as LL’s CFO.

Medalist Diversified REIT (MDRR)

The commercial real estate-focused REIT released its latest proxy statement, disclosing compensation packages paid last year to its top executives.

Former CEO Thomas Messier received a total pay package of $63,300. He received no base salary and $63,300 in stock awards.

The proxy also announced the date of the company’s annual shareholders meeting, to be held Sept. 15.

CFO Brent Winn bought 3,961 shares at about $6 per share for a total of $19,805. Winn directly owns 62,944 shares of common stock.

Performance Food Group (PFGC)

CCO Patrick Hagerty sold 2,000 shares at about $62 per share for a total of $124,000. Hagerty directly owns 159,035 shares of common stock.

Tredegar (TG)

The plastic and aluminum parts manufacturer reported a loss of $18.9 million for the second quarter 2023. The company reported a net income of $14.9 million for the same period last year.

Anne Waleski has left the Board of Directors effective Aug. 1. She had served on the board since 2018.

Universal Corp. (UVV)

The tobacco company reported a loss of $2.1 million for the second quarter 2023. The company reported a net income of $6.8 million for the same period last year.

Village Bank and Trust Financial (VBFC)

The Midlothian-based bank declared a dividend of $0.16 per share of common stock payable on Sept. 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 8.
