An up-and-coming food truck operator has dipped his toe into the brick-and-mortar restaurant world.
Henry Fletcher’s 1115 Mobile Kitchen has taken up residence at Hatch Local, where it operates alongside several other dining concepts at the food hall in Manchester.
1115 Mobile Kitchen serves fried chicken sandwiches, as well as nuggets and fries. The company’s menu items also are available in vegan versions.
Fletcher said a stall at the food hall has helped introduce 1115 to new customers, as well as provide a spot where the truck’s fans can consistently find its food.

“It’s really exciting to be able to present what we have going on to a new crowd,” he said. “People are coming to us but also being exposed to us.”
The food truck is expected to continue to operate alongside the food hall location.
Fletcher said the two arms of the business complement each other in that the food hall space provides steady business that allows the food truck the option to skip out on rainy days and small events. Instead, the truck now can drill down on bigger events and focus on making appearances where the company has cultivated a following.
“We don’t have to go out on those harder days,” he said.
Its food hall outpost opened in November, coinciding with the three-year anniversary of the launch of the company’s food truck in 2020. The company has taken over the space at Hatch Local previously occupied by Buttermilk and Honey.
Fletcher is considering the possibility of one day opening a full-blown restaurant and said the space at the food hall is a chance to try out a brick-and-mortar operation.

Other operators at Hatch Local include TBT El Gallo, Greek on Cary and Fat Kid Sandwiches. The Beet Box shuttered its outpost at Hatch Local in October.
The food hall opened in 2022 and is an arm of Hatch, which operates a food-and-beverage incubator called Hatch Kitchen and offers logistics services out of the Clopton Siteworks in South Richmond.
Hatch Local is located in The Current, a mixed-use development at 400 Hull St.
