Welcome to new and improved BizSense Development Tracker, powered by PlanRVA.
This newly launched version utilizes a robust GIS-based interactive mapping system to help you keep track of all the latest real estate developments in the Richmond region (there’s a ton).
Unlike the previous Google Maps-based iteration, we now have the entire region in one map, with tools built in to allow you to search by locality, neighborhood, land-use type and even by specific projects. There are also multiple map layers and basemap views to choose from.
The map features highlighted (purple) properties that are in some state of development/construction. Clicking on a highlighted property will pull up a window with basic specs of a project, including location, developer and status. Clicking the image in that window will take you to the most recent/relevant BizSense news story of that particular project.
PlanRVA is updating the map routinely, to keep pace with BizSense’s daily news coverage.
For now, the new Development Tracker is open for all, but in the coming weeks it will become part of our BizSense Pro subscription service.
