Karen O’Grady has been promoted to senior associate at Heritage Wealth Advisors. She attended Clemson University.

Engineering

Dave Stinnette joined JES as director of engineering. Stinnette was previously vice president and head of the geotechnical engineering department at Balzer and Associates. He attended VMI.

Robert Tietjen has joined JES as general sales manager. He was previously employed by Home Depot, Owens Corning and Sears.

Timothy Barrett has joined JES as quality assurance coordinator. Barrett previously worked for Volvo-GM and Craft Machine Works. He attended Regent University for law school and Virginia Tech as an undergraduate.

Brian Cortez joined JES as a videographer. Cortez previously produced videos for Rent.com. He attended Virginia Tech.

Corey Portalatin-Berrien has joined JES as Internet content manager. Portalatin-Berrien previously worked for the Hope House Foundation and PETA. She attended Michigan State University.

John Wiltgen has joined JES as a web developer.

Associations

Heather Markel has joined the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence as corporate program manager for HandsOn Greater Richmond.  Most recently, Markel served as special events manager at the Maymont Foundation.

Holly Gordon has joined Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence as program coordinator for HandsOn Greater Richmond.  Most recently she served as an academic adviser for J. Sargent Reynolds Community College.

Mark Hickman has joined the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence as program manager for ConnectRichmond.  Hickman was previously a paralegal at Hunton & Williams.

Frank T. Gilg has been promoted to director of commercial operations and sales for United Network for Organ Sharing. Gilg joined UNOS in 2004 as director of sales and marketing for Tii Informatix. Gilg attended Virginia Commonwealth University
