Clay T. Eubank Jr. has been promoted to managing director at Capital Advisory Group. Eubank attended the University of Richmond.

J. Timothy Jester has been promoted to managing director at Capital Advisory Group. He also serves on the firm’s research team. Jester attended Shorter College and Georgia Tech.

Nicholas P. Zizzo has been promoted to managing director at Capital Advisory Group as a director of investment advisory services. He has an MBA from the University of Richmond and attended Virginia Tech as an undergraduate.

Tommy R. French has been promoted to managing director at Capital Advisory Group as director of business operations. He has a master’s from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and attended Texas Tech University as an undergraduate.

Lee Chapman IV has been promoted to head of retail sales at Davenport & Co. Chapman has been a portfolio manager with Davenport Asset Management since 1995 and co-manager of the equity opportunities portfolio since 2010. Chapman attended the University of Virginia. Ron Schmitz has been appointed chief investment officer of the Virginia Retirement System. Since 2003, Schmitz has served as the chief investment officer for Oregon Public Employees Retirement System.

Alison W. Eckis joined Wise Benefits Inc. as an employee benefits specialist. Ecklis was formerly with Premier Insurance Agency Ltd. She has a master’s from Villanova University and attended the University of Delaware as an undergraduate.

Lynn Robbins joined Lift Caregiving as a marketing manager.

Jonathan Domagalski joined Networking Technologies and Support Inc. as a deskside support specialist.

Jamelle S. Wilson has been appointed superintendent of Hanover County Schools. She has been assistant superintendent for instructional leadership of the division for the past eight years. Wilson has also been a classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, assistant principal and principal in Hanover.

Communications

Ali Malik has been promoted to regional vice president for business integrated solutions at AT&T. Malik has been with the company since 2004 and most recently served as a business integrated sales manager in Los Angeles. Malik received his undergraduate degree and his MBA from Punjab University.

Martin J. Briley joined the Virginia Economic Development Partnership as president and chief executive officer. Briley has served as executive director of the Prince William County Department of Economic Development since 1997. Briley succeeds Jeffrey M. Anderson, who served as VEDP president and CEO for six years.

Julia Henderson joined the Partnership for Non-Profit Excellence as fund development manager. Most recently, Henderson was with the Office of Development and Stewardship at the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. She attended the University of St. Andrews and Hollins University as an undergraduate.

Emily Horne joined the Partnership for Non-Profit Excellence as a communications associate. Her prior nonprofit experience includes volunteering for Leadership Fairfax, Lead Virginia and Loudoun County’s Equine Rescue League. Horne attended Shepherd University.

Elizabeth Hailand joined HandsOn Greater Richmond as a volunteer action liaison with the Neighborhood Resource Center. Hailand attended the University of Richmond.

Tamiko Williams joined HandsOn Greater Richmond and Communities in Schools as an AmeriCorps Volunteer. Williams attended Virginia Commonwealth University. She also works part time for Capital One as a rewards specialist.

Claire Calise joined Handson Greater Richmond as an environmental liaison. Calise attended the University of Richmond. She recently worked as an energy research analyst with a management consulting firm in Raleigh, N.C.
