Package assembly of display cards
Patent 8,056,721
The invention provides a package assembly(100) including a base including a bottom portion (112) and a plurality of vertically oriented display cards (130)arranged on the base. Each display card includes a top edge (138), a bottom edge (140),a display portion (134) and a first support portion (136) attached to the display portion along a vertical fold (150). The display portion of each card is preferably disposed in a different plane and at a first angle with respect to the first support portion, wherein the bottom edge ofeach card is disposed on the base. The display cards are configured and adapted to withstand a vertical load applied to the package assembly. In accordance with another aspect, the invention can further include a shipping cover (160)disposed over the display cards, the shipping cover configured and adapted to protect the display cards during shipment.

Isotopically-enriched boron-containing compounds, and methods of making and using same
Patent 8,062,965
An isotopically-enriched, boron-containing compound comprising two or more boron atoms and at least one fluorine atom, wherein at least one of the boron atoms contains a desired isotope of boron in a concentration or ratio greater than a natural abundance concentration or ratio thereof. The compound may have a chemical formula of B.sub.2F.sub.4. Synthesis methods for such compounds, and ion implantation methods using such compounds, are described, as well as storage and dispensing vessels in which the isotopically-enriched, boron-containing compound is advantageously contained for subsequent dispensing use.

Fungi resistant asphalt and asphalt sheet materials
Patent 8,057,881
A fungi resistant asphalt is combined with a base sheet to form a fungi resistant asphalt containing sheet material. Typically, the base sheet is a fibrous base sheet that, by itself, may or may not be fungi resistant. The fungi resistant asphalt is at least partially absorbed by the base sheet to form the fungi resistant asphalt containing sheet material and typically forms one or both major surfaces of the fungi resistant asphalt containing sheet material.

Composition of decimal floating point data, and methods therefor
Patent 8,060,545
A decimal floating point finite number in a decimal floating point format is composed from the number in a different format. A decimal floating point format includes fields to hold information relating to the sign, exponent and significand of the decimal floating point finite number. Other decimal floating point data, including infinities and NaNs (not a number), are also composed. Decimal floating point data are also decomposed from the decimal floating point format to a different format.
