Mr. Gambill died on Feb. 1, 2011, of bacterial septicemia—his penis had split open—and plaintiff alleges that defendant breached the standard of care and was medically negligent in its care of the deceased, and failed to adequately monitor his catheter. Plaintiff seeks judgment of $750,000, plus interest, costs and expenses.

On or about Jan. 14, 2010, plaintiff contends he and defendant Jordan were traveling together in a motor vehicle that broke down. At the time, Jordan owned and was employed by Big Brothers. When plaintiff and defendant exited the vehicle, defendant produced a Coke can filled with gas, and began pouring from the can into the carburetor, plaintiff alleges. The can subsequently caught on fire, and the defendant, plaintiff alleges, carelessly lodged the can in the plaintiff’s direction, causing gas from the can to spill out onto the plaintiff’s lower right leg, causing him serious and grievous injuries, including full thickness third-degree burns. Plaintiff seeks judgment of $500,000, plus interest, costs and fees.
