ThompsonMcMullan hired Joley L. Eason to the firm’s elder law and estate planning and administration practice groups. Eason was previously a certified legal intern for the University of Pittsburgh Elder Law Clinic. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and received dual bachelors degrees from the College of William and Mary in public policy and sociology.
McGuireWoods said partner Matthew Hall has been appointed to serve a one-year term as vice chair of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law, International Committee effective Sept. 1. Hall is a partner in the firm’s Brussels office, where he focuses on European Union and United Kingdom competition law.
