AIBioTech announced the addition of Dan Maloy as vice president of sales and marketing. Maloy is a past chairman of the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) Hospital Advisory Council. He received his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and his BA from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. Maloy has also completed studies in Project Management with Villanova University.

The Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing announced Joseph F. Moody is its new president and executive director. Moody succeeds interim president and executive director Dr. Michael Beffel who was appointed in 2013. Moody holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in electrical engineering from Kettering University and an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan.

W. R. Berkley Corp. announced that Susan N. Grady has been named president of Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group. Grady succeeds Kevin W. Nattrass, who will assume the position of chairman during the transition and will continue to work with W. R. Berkley Corporation’s regional operating units thereafter. Grady most recently served as chief underwriting officer for Acadia Insurance Group, having joined W. R. Berkley Corporation in 2001. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) professional designations.

Patina is pleased to introduce Mike Ledesma as executive chef. Ledesma helped open The Hard Shell at Bellgrade and Max’s on Broad. Ledesma attended the University of Hawaii where he graduated valedictorian with a degree in food service and hospitality.

Sarah Smith was hired in March as senior media planner/buyer. Smith most recently spent 13 years with the Johnson Group.

Neil Cox has been hired as interactive producer. Cox joins Big River from The Martin Agency where he worked as a senior digital producer.
Allie Witte transferred internally to the role of interactive designer. Witte previously worked as a designer at the agency. Witte received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Rina Dyer has been promoted from account executive to account manager. Prior to joining in 2010 Big River, Dyer worked as a marketing associate at Health Management Corporation. Dyer has undergraduate and master’s degrees in marketing and international business respectively from Virginia Commonwealth University.
At Big River since 2012, Jessica Lockwood was promoted from account coordinator to account executive. Before joining Big River, she worked in business development at Rutherfoord. Lockwood received a degree in marketing management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Lesley Moseley has been promoted from accounting manager to senior accounting manager. Moseley joined Big River in 2010 as an operations coordinator. Moseley received a bachelor’s degree in hotel restaurant management from James Madison University.
