Insurance

Charlie Ansley and Connor Thompson have joined Kinsale Insurance Co. as claims examiners.

Collin Hite joined Markel Corp. as claims counsel for primary casualty.  He has degrees from Boston College and Southern Methodist University.

Education

Joining St. Michael’s Episcopal School:

Merrill Geier is Lower School director.  She had been Lower School coordinator.

Jessica Stargell is Middle School director. She will also teach two sections of social studies.

Scot Burns will teach sixth grade science, serve as the School’s K-8 outdoor education coordinator and lead the LEGO Robotics teams.

Rebekah O’Dell is a Middle School English teacher.

Wells Bridgforth will teach design for third through eighth grade.

Alison Reining is a first and second grade teaching aide.

Angie Rowe is a fourth and fifth grade teaching assistant and Extended Programs assistant.

Ronald L. Lester has been promoted to vice president with Century Construction Co. Inc. He is a general superintendent.

Rosalie Morton is a director in the B2B technology practice.  She had been an account supervisor.

Matt Brehony is senior brand experience manager in Joe Smith.  He had been brand experience manager.

Eliza Winston is brand experience strategist in Joe Smith.  She had been an associate brand strategist.

Nichole Heisler is a designer in the creative and digital group.  She had been an associate designer.

Matt Newman has joined The Frontier Project as business development lead.

Jason D. Burk is an e-learning instructor in the department of instructional innovations.  He had been a teacher at Stonewall Jackson Middle School in Mechanicsville and has degrees from California University of Pennsylvania and the American College of Education in Indianapolis.

Caroline H. Prettyman is a content and social media strategist in the communications department.  Prettyman had been with Franklin Street Marketing and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
