The second phase of Willow Lawn return to an outdoor mall is about to start, and the permit is for $2.5 million. Plus lots of office rennovations.

Lots of projects going up, including a new car wash on Midlothian Turnpike and renovations to a Virginia Credit Union building on West Broad Street and at a few public school buildings in Hanover County. Plus Kroger is going to spend $1.5 million to rennovate and expand a store in Midlothian.

Lots of interesting projects: An historic rebab/conversion project in Hull Street, a store renovation on Cary Street and new bleachers at the track at Trinity Episcopal school. Plus an upgrade to a Henrico Kroger and a $10 million renovation at Brookland Middle School.

A $5 million apartment conversion project in Shockoe Bottom is in the works. Plus Bon Secours is upgrading the emergency department at St. Mary’s with $7 million in improvements. And new projects in Chesterfield and Hanover.
