Richmond took the biggest leap on StubHub’s third annual ranking of the 20 most active markets for summer concert tickets, moving up from No. 17 to No. 9.
(They know we don’t have a Hard Rock Cafe, right?)
New York took home the top spot for the third consecutive year. Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Chicago rounded out the top five, in that order. Newcomers to the list included Indianapolis at No.13 and Cleveland at No. 20.
More than 90 cities/regions were included in the ranking process, which looked at total sales for concert events only, occurring between May 15th and September 15th.
StubHub is an online ticket marketplace. Fans can freely buy and sell tickets to venues throughout North America. Every transaction is processed and reviewed by StubHub and backed by the company’s FanProtect Guarantee.
