A local salon and spa, Salon del Sol, is expanding its presence in the Roanoke Valley.
The Roanoke Times reports that the Richmond-based salon purchased valley-based SpaVa Premier Day Spa locations in Roanoke and Salem.
From the article:
SpaVa has had a long presence in the Roanoke Valley. Its owner, Robyn Goodpasture, opened the day spa in 1998 on Braeburn Drive in Salem.
Last year, she extended SpaVa’s reach to a second location on Franklin Road in Roanoke, adding an Aveda hair salon.
Goodpasture told me today that the demands of running the business have impacted her home life. She sold SpaVa to have more time for her three children.
That brings Salon del Sol’s number of locations to seven, including four in the Richmond area and another location in Roanoke that they opened last year.
