The last remaining tenant at the College Station retail strip on the 900 block of W. Grace St. has left. The sign on the Little Caesars door reads: “Due to some unfortunate circumstances we will be closing this location Wednesday September 29. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers and vow that we will back in the area soon when we find a new location…know any good realtors?“
Some contractors were loading a dumpster with debris from one of the other store units. Does anyone out there have any idea what is going on with this property? It seems like it would be great for businesses geared toward college students, just like the thriving retail all around it. VCU seems like it would be a good candidate for putting it to a higher use. What gives?

Yeah, maybe they can build another student recreational center.
Apartments are planned.
Isn’t VCU building a new parking deck and dorm in this area?
