An economic development agency for the Richmond region launched a new website touting the area’s virtues.
This month, The Greater Richmond Partnership launched RichmondWorldView.com, a site to lure international businesses planning to relocate or expand to come to the city.
The site features a directory of 150 international businesses in the area as well statistics and rankings about Richmond businesses and regional demographics. The partnership will also update the site regularly with new businesses that come to area as well as the success of longtime international businesses.
Shockoe Slip website design firm Rick Whittington Consulting created the site for the GRP.
In a statement, Gregory Wingfield, president of chief executive officer of GRP shed some light on the new site.
“Often, we’re working with companies seeking to establish their first U.S. presence,” Wingfield said. “Having customized materials, and now the Richmond World View site, businesses have access to key information they need to quickly realize Greater Richmond’s benefits for growing a U.S. operation.”
