Lawyer remains free despite embezzlement convictions (Times-Dispatch)
A lawyer convicted of embezzling $430,000 over seven years at the Marks & Harrison law firm was sentenced to more than three years in prison Thursday but will remain free pending an appeal that could take years to be resolved.
