Outdoor diners at Legend Brewery in Manchester are enjoying an even better view of the downtown skyline now that huge sections of the Reynolds South plant have been razed.
Legend Brewery recently purchased its 20,000-square-foot industrial building across the street from the restaurant for $1.2 million.
The Reynolds South plant is being demolished by owner Reynolds Group Holdings to make way for a possible development. South Plant Development Group, led by Franklin Development’s Tom Wilkinson, has the plant under contract for a mixed-use residential, office and retail development.

Only the non-historic portions of the Reynolds South Plant are being demolished. The historic plant buildings are being rehabilitated for mixed use.
