The parent of Bank of Virginia extended its employment agreement with President and CEO Jack Zoeller through 2016.

MeadWestvaco (MWV)
Board member James M. Kilts informed the company that he will step down from the board at the MWV annual meeting this year. He has served on the board since 2006 and is the former chief executive of the Gillette Company.

NewMarket Corp. (NEU)
The company declared a quarterly dividend of $1.10 per share payable April 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 17.

Owens & Minor (OMI)
Grace Denttartog, the company’s general counsel, exercised options for 7,750 shares at $24.08 per share. She then sold the shares at $34.76 per share for a total of $269,000.

CFO Richard Meier acquired 2,500 shares at $34.85 per share for a total purchase of $87,000.

Union First Market Bankshares (UBSH)
Jeffrey Farrar, an executive vice president who came over in Union’s acquisition of StellarOne Bank, sold 1,715 shares at $24.82 each for a total of $42,500.

Raymond Smoot Jr., another former StellarOne exec who came over in the deal, sold 1,852 shares at $26.17 per share for a total of $48,400.

Chairman, President and CEO George Freeman III sold 5,550 shares at $58.29 per share for a total sale of $320,000.

CFO David Moore sold 3,066 shares at $57.32 and an additional sale of 2,000 shares at $59.14 each. The two sales totaled $294,000.
