An eastern Henrico mainstay is up and running in the West End.

Country Style Donuts opened its second storefront and bakery at 8902 W. Broad St. in the Gold’s Gym Plaza at West Tower on Tuesday.

The new 2,200-square-foot location is run by Ramzi Rabah and Nader Nassereddine, son-in-law and son, respectively, of longtime Country Style owners Wafaa and Zouhair Nassereddine.

Wafaa Nassereddine said the West End location will have the same recipe and business model as the family-owned operation’s East End shop at 4300 Williamsburg Road, which they bought in 1984. Country Style originally opened under different ownership in 1968.

Rabah said it cost about $70,000 to get the new location open and the store is in the process of hiring more employees. It is open 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday.

He said more locations may be in the works.

“We’ll see how it’s going to be over here,” Rabah said. “We want to keep it all in the family.”

Gelati Celesti is excited to have Country Style donuts in the shopping center! We have been there for 31 years and the surrounding residents are fantastic supporters of local businesses. Best of luck!
